Portside Padel Club

Portside Padel Club runs under the tagline "where padel meets social", and it is one of the more technically considered court builds in North Jakarta. The venue sits inside the Puspomal naval military complex off Jalan Boulevard Raya in Kelapa Gading — a slightly unexpected setting that reviewers note takes a moment to find, but which gives the club a quiet, self-contained footprint rare in that part of the city.

Court design

Five indoor turf courts are in play: Courts A through D plus a signature Centre Court with proper spectator stands. The club has invested in two features worth calling out. The first is a Shock Lock structural system in the court frames. The second is glare-free indirect lighting, which removes the overhead-glare problem that plagues a lot of indoor padel builds and makes evening sessions genuinely comfortable. All courts are priced at Rp 170,000 per hour.

Booking and demand

Portside is heavily booked — routinely close to half of all available slots are taken on a given weekday, so advance reservation is essential rather than optional. Bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.

The club rates 4.89 from a consistent recent review base. Players praise the court quality, the Centre Court atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. The two recurring notes are that midday sessions run warm despite the indoor build, and that parking and wayfinding inside the military complex take some getting used to on a first visit.
