Smart Padel

Smart Padel is a neighbourhood padel club on Jl. Raya Lontar Baru in Sambikerep, on the western edge of Surabaya. It is deliberately small — two courts, run tightly — and has built a reputation for cleanliness and value rather than scale.

Courts

The club runs two indoor courts, Lapangan A and Lapangan B, both fully covered and floodlit for evening play. Sessions are a straight 60 minutes and both courts are priced the same at Rp 75,000 per hour, among the more accessible rates anywhere in Surabaya for an enclosed court. Being indoor, the venue plays through the rainy season without cancellations.

Facilities

For a two-court site the amenity list is unusually complete: toilets, showers with hot water, a changing room, an air-conditioned lounge area, spectator seating, a small pro shop for rackets and balls, snacks and cold drinks, plus separate car and motorbike parking. The club positions itself as somewhere you can bring friends or family and stay a while rather than turn straight around after your hour.

Community and service

The standout feature is how the club is run. Management replies personally to almost every review on the booking platform, thanks players by name, and acts on requests — one reviewer asked for a hairdryer in the changing room and was told it would be arranged immediately. Ratings sit at a perfect 5.0, with players repeatedly describing the venue as nyaman and bersih (comfortable and clean) and singling out the pricing as good value.

Booking

Courts are reserved through the AYO Indonesia app or website. There are no membership tiers — it is pay-per-play throughout. Reschedules are permitted up to three days before your slot, once per booking; reservations are otherwise non-refundable. The only house rule of note is that proper sports shoes must be worn on court.

A sensible choice for west-Surabaya players who want a guaranteed indoor court without the price tag of the city's flagship clubs.
