The Ballroom Padel & Pickleball

The Ballroom opened for bookings in March 2026 on the second floor of Gedung Istana Koki, on Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro in Medan Polonia. Its distinguishing feature is straightforward and, in Medan's climate, significant: these are the city's only fully air-conditioned padel courts.

Courts

Two padel courts named Capital and Madison, plus a pickleball court called Brooklyn — a New York borough naming theme carried through the venue. The hall is enclosed and skylit, with glass-walled courts. Court hire is IDR 350,000 per hour on weekdays and IDR 400,000 at weekends. Doors are open daily 07:00 to 23:00.

Coaching and equipment

Coaching can be added at booking for IDR 180,000, with a ball machine available at IDR 100,000 and ball boys at IDR 45,000. The demo racket fleet is unusually good for Indonesia — the Nox AT10 Genius, Adidas Metalbone Ale Galán and Babolat Technical Viper 3.0 all rent at IDR 50,000, making this a sensible place to try before buying. Ball tubes run IDR 80,000 to IDR 168,000.

Booking

Reservations go through Top Court, a Medan-based booking platform run by the Sempurna group, rather than Ayo or Playtomic — which is why the venue is easy to miss on the usual apps. WhatsApp booking is also available.
